About

Dr. Diane E. Johnson is an Assistant Professor in the department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education and Human Development teaching educational theory. Additionally, she additionally taught in the Applied Digital Learning Program for Educational Leadership.

Before coming to Âé¶¹AV, she taught English Language Arts for grades 9-12 at schools across Texas for twenty years as well as was an adjunct and instructor of writing courses Coastal Bend College, Texas A&M - Kingsville, Âé¶¹AV State College - Port Arthur, and Âé¶¹AV Institute of Technology.

She has a B.A. in English from Texas A&M University, a M.A. in Literature from the University of Houston - Clear Lake, a M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas, and an EdD in Educational Leadership from Âé¶¹AV. Her research interests include teacher leadership, teacher empowerment, and technology in the classroom.
