Pritam Bhowmick

Pritam Bhowmick traces his roots to Cumilla, Bangladesh. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in Bangladesh and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering Science in Industrial Engineering in the United States. Alongside his academic journey, he serves as the President of the International Student Council (ISC) at �鶹AV.

A self-described creative soul, Pritam brings stories to life through caricature and painting. Constantly in motion, he enjoys mandir hopping and is actively engaged in plane spotting with genuine enthusiasm. Guided by the discipline of a former national boxer and the balance cultivated through yoga, he approaches life as a high-performance system.

Above all, Pritam has a natural ability to bring people together, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels connected under one umbrella.

Ipsita Sarkar

Ipsita is originally from Khulna, Bangladesh. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies at �鶹AV and serves as the Vice President of the International Student Council. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, fishing, and spending time with her cat.

Alejandra Castro

Alejandra Castro is from Peru. She is an international undergraduate student at �鶹AV pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She serves as the Secretary of the International Student Council and currently also serves as the President of SACNAS at �鶹AV, where she helps build a supportive community for underrepresented students in STEM by connecting them with mentorship, research opportunities, and professional development resources. Alejandra is also an undergraduate researcher working on a project focused on phase change materials (PCM), and she hopes to focus on her degree and future career in materials science. In her free time, she loves painting with watercolor, exploring new places, and hiking in nature.

David Saliu

David is originally from Nigeria and a graduate student at �鶹AV pursuing a Master's degree in Management Information Systems. He enjoys connecting with people from diverse cultures and capturing meaningful moments. In his free time, David enjoys traveling, listening to music, and hiking. Through his role as Communication and Public Relations Officer of the International Student Council, he is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and engaging community for international students.

Sajita Shresta

Sajita is from Nepal and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. She serves as the Marketing Coordinator of the International Student Council. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Jerry Gabor

Jerry is originally from Ghana, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Management Information Systems at �鶹AV. He serves as the Treasurer of the International Student Council, where he is dedicated to ensuring that events and initiatives are well-supported and impactful. He is passionate about fostering a strong sense of community among international students and creating opportunities for connection and growth. In his free time, Jerry enjoys exploring new places, trying different cuisines, and watching football.
