VISION

 

“To support a stronger, safer, and more connected Southeast Texas - where business,government, and community organizations collaborate, support each other through challenges, and build a more resilient region together for the good of the community.

MISSION

 

CfR establishes and supports a networking center and data collaborative for multi-disaster community resilience through service, outreach, education, and community based research.

PRIORITIES 

 

Support and maintain a network hub of local government, business, health care, industry, social, and environment stakeholders.
Support community based research to the Southeast Texas Region to solve practical problems that exist in the capacity of resilience to all perils, human or nature induced, that befall our communities.
Support programs that enrich and serve our communities and encourage collaboration to solve the challenges we face in confronting multi-disaster events.
Provide a model that gathers information and data from numerous community stakeholders and then compiles, analyzes, and funnels that knowledge locally, regionally, statewide, and beyond.
