Apply for Graduation

Get info about applying for graduation.  Applications open first day of classes each semester. If you try to apply and get "no curriculum found" your department may have not submitted your name. Please allow time for names to be submitted. Keep checking back. If you still receive a "no curriculum found" error after the potential graduating list is due (2 week after applications open) please contact your department for assistance.

Information

Find information such as dates, times and location, ordering your cap and gown, honors graduation and diplomas/transcripts.

• August 18 - Graduation Applications process begins.
• August 18 - Students can begin ordering cap & gowns through Official Bookstore website.
• September 1 - Deadline for departments to submit potential graduates list.
• September 29 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends September 21 , 2026. Transcripts will be available September 30, 2026.
• October 9 - Last day to order fine quality regalia
• October 15 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends October 9 , 2026. Transcripts will be available October 16, 2026.
• October 31 - Graduation Applications close. Names submitted after this day may not appear in the program.
• November 3 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends October 25 , 2026. Transcripts will be available November 4, 2026.
• November 6 - Deadline to pay Graduation Fees.
• November 8 - Last day to order regalia . 
• November 12 - Last day for name changes/corrections to be submitted.
• November 12 - Last day to notify us of change in commencement attendance, if applicable.
• November 12 - Last date for late applicants to be included in the program.
• TBA - Thesis and Dissertation titles due.
• December 7 - PDF of Programs available.
• December 10 - Doctoral Commencement and Hooding Ceremony at 6 pm in the University Theater.
• December 11 - Commencement Ceremony at 9 am - Colleges of Business and Engineering. 
• December 11 - Commencement Ceremony at 1 pm - Colleges of Arts & Sciences 
• Nursing & Health Professions and Department of Leadership Studies.
• December 11 - Commencement Ceremony at 5 pm - Colleges of Education & Human Development and Fine Arts & Communication. 
• December 18 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends November 29, 2026. Transcripts will be available December 19, 2026.
• December 18 - Degrees awarded by end of the day for students whose last class ends December 10 , 2026. Transcripts will be available December 19, 2026.
