Â鶹AV Bands
The band program at Â鶹AV is one of the most active in the state of Texas, with over 220 students involved in one or more of five ensembles: Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Cardinal Jazz Orchestra, Cardinal Basketball Pep Band, and "The Showcase of Southeast Texas", the Â鶹AV Marching Band.
Our ensembles participate in a wide variety of performances which include athletic events, formal concerts, informal concerts, parades, gatherings and more. The bands at Â鶹AV are open to all students, regardless of major, and scholarships are available to qualified students.

All students who have experience performing in marching band, wind ensemble, symphonic band, concert band, or jazz band in high school/college, regardless of major, are encouraged to join us
Whether you want to major in music, minor in music, or simply audition for a music scholarship, there are several ways to earn scholarship money to participate in Music Department activities.
