For decades, Â鶹AV has provided professional, low-cost swimming lessons to the Southeast Texas community. Our staff is excited to offer Group Swim Lessons this summer.

Why LU Learn to Swim?

• Our lessons are open to the community - you don't have to be an LU/LIT student or staff member to participate.
• Classes are taught by Red Cross certified instructors.
• We follow a structured program to ensure an easy transition between each level:
  • Beginner: Ages 6+
  • Intermediate: Ages 9+
  • Advanced: Ages 9+

Summer 2026 Group Lessons

Registration is now open for Group Swim Lessons. Two-week sessions begin June 1.

• Lessons are held each day Monday through Thursday.
• Parent/legal guardian must stay at the pool for the duration of lessons.
• Goggles are allowed only for Advanced classes.
• Students must be 6 years old to attend the lessons.
