How to Add a Page

Pages are the "brick and mortar" of any site, containing your most detailed information. We offer two types of Pages to satisfy your content presentation needs.

  • A full width page with top navigation only.
  • A page with both top and left navigation.  Left navigation shows additional pages inside the folder where the page resides.  This page is a left navigation page.

Instructions

  1. In the Site Content tree on the left, click on the folder name where you wish to create the page.

Select a folder by hovering over the asset name and clicking on the arrow (>) that appears to the right of the asset name. The contents of that folder will display on the right hand side of the page.

  2. Look for a red plus sign in the topmost header area of the page, and click on Add Content.
  3. Inside the Assets folder, select one of the Page templates available.

If You're Creating an Index Page

  • Every folder in your site MUST contain an index page.
  • Type "index" in the display name but the title can be specific to the content.
  • After the page has been submitted and clears workflow, go to EDIT and update the Display Name to something more appropriate as it will also be your heading at the top of the page.

If You're Creating a Standard Page

  • The display name is the main heading on your page.
  • The title can be repeated or you may type additional text in this metadata title field as it will be used and displayed by Search Engines.
